T’was EDF’s fault, honest!
So as you may have seen via the (pointless but fun) Twitter widget to your left, I was late for work this morning. The electricity seems to have been cut off overnight in my region of France - and the little battery socket for cases like this on my radio alarm clock did not in fact have a battery in it.
It wouldn’t matter - except that the big boss had decided just after 7:30 PM last night to invite us all to a meeting at 9:30 AM - coincidentally, that was the time my phone rang, waking me up 
Shit happens. The day went downhill from there.
