On boat, heading for weekend in London.
Blogged from the maersk delft, somewhere in the channel.
We’re in Vienna. That is, the whole family is in Austria. Will Austria survive?
From a blackberry in an austrian castle.
And so unexpected!
Google and Virgin are collaborating over at Virgle. Check it out!
The number three most popular article on Reuters today is “More Americans turning to Web for news”.
In other news, bears have been shitting in the woods - and there is a persistent rumour flying round the web : the Pope is actually a Catholic.
Robert S. commented on a two-year-old post of mine, about Radio Free Colorado. Now, as I’m pretty sure that none of youactually read comments left two years after the event, I thought I’d reprint it here :
Radio Free Colorado is back on the air since January 2007!
RFC sounds *better than ever* and has an excellent new Song Request feature, you can browse Radio Free Colorado’s entire music library and request the DJ to play any song you like.
Also, there is a 192 kbps MP3 channel on RFC which is streaming now. Wonderful sounds!

So there you have it. Let me remind everybody that streams can be played in vlc (for Windows and Linux) and of course in Amarok (by the way, did you know that Amarok has its own page in Facebook?)
M6, chaîne de TV privée française, diffuse cette semaine “Trader”, avec Ewan Mc Gregor… Quel flaire !!! Apparemment, quelqu’un, dans le service programmation, a ses entrées à la Société Générale…

The results are out. Now we know what the knock-out stages of the Heineken cup look like.
2 French teams - Toulouse and Perpignan. The Stade Français did not qualify (they needed Cardiff to lose v. Bristol) although they went out in style. Sky News noted that the tournament lost out in colour (Stade Français play in pink).
2 London teams - well, the Saracens actually live in Watford, and the London Irish play in Reading (of all places!)
3 teams from England, all from the South. The northernmost team is Gloucester, the current Guinness Premiership leaders. A fun fact about Gloucester for my French readers - it’s pronounced “gloostère”.
0 teams from Italy.
2 teams from Wales - a result not equaled for the last seven years. Ospreys and Cardiff
And the 8th team is Munster, from Ireland. Munster beat the Wasps (the defending champions) over the weekend.
But before the next stage of the Heineken cup, we have the 6 nations to look forward to. Let’s see if England can show Europe what they showed the world in September!
Here’s a question for you: why does London have a large amount of top-flight Rugby teams, while Paris has one ? (we’ll assume here that London is Greater London (600 sq. miles), and Paris is anything in the Ile de France (depts. 75, 77, 78, 91, 92, 93, 94, 95)(4.5 thou sq. miles).
I studied English at uni. And I know that I am not alone. So let’s be honest here: Doesn’t this sum it up rather nicely?

While at my stop this morning, I watched a full bus (not mine) turn into a side road, realise that he had made a mistake, do a perfect 3 point turn in the road and resume his normal run. And there was me thinking that ratp drivers were infallible…
